Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen joined congregants at a crossover church service in Lagos on New Year’s Eve.
The forward was recently released by Napoli for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) which will kick off in Cote d’Ivoire on January 13.
On arrival at the church, Osimhen was greeted with cheers from the congregants.
The former Lille striker was handed the microphone to speak to the congregation.

On December 11, Osimhen was named the 2023 African Player of the Year at the CAF Awards and Gala ceremony in Marrakesh, Morocco.
It was the first time a Nigerian would be winning the coveted prize since Nwankwo Kanu won it in 1999.
Osimhen beat Liverpool and Egypt’s Mohammed Salah and PSG and Morocco’s Achraf Hakimi to the crown.
Meanwhile, Afrobeats star Rema also attended a crossover service in Lagos with American singer Justine Skye.
Pop star Davido and a few of his crew members were also spotted at Harvesters Church, Lagos for the crossover service.
