Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike on Tuesday gave his people a pleasurable sight by pulling out some of his dance moves.
The governor, who appears to be enjoying his feud with his party’s presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, danced to the excitement of the people as his guests looked on.
Earlier, he welcomed the former governor of Sokoto State Senator Aliyu Wamakko to commission the dualised Ogbunabali road in Port Harcourt.
Wamakko’s visit came 24 hours after Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State visited the state to commission the Orochiri flyover.
Sanwo-Olu and Wamakko are both members of the All Progressives Congress while Wike is a member of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party.
On Monday, Wike said he did not understand why there was so much displeasure about his invitation of Sanwo-Olu to commission a project in Rivers.
He said, “Since people knew you (Babajide Sanwo-Olu) were coming to commission this flyover, so many people have been saying ‘Why did you invite Lagos State governor?’ Why now? And I asked them ‘When is the time stipulated to invite you (Sanwo-Olu) to come and commission flyover?’
“The minister of works (Babatunde) Fashola was here, governor of Ekiti State was here, minister of sports was here, minister of health was here, vice president was here. So why is this one troubling people? Those of you who want to have hypertension, have hypertension.”
