A woman has appeared in a video in tears over non-inclusion of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Cross River State, John Uwan-Enoh, on the ministerial list sent to the Senate.
President Muhammadu Buhari had on Monday sent the list to the Senate with Godie Agba as nominee from Cross River.
In the video shared on social media, the lady who claimed to be part of Uwan-Enoh’s media team during the 2019 election, begins by praising President Buhari for releasing the list ‘early’ unlike his first term.
She said she worked ‘so hard’ for the president, saying that she took his brand to where it was not wanted.
“Campaigning for President Buhari in Cross River State was like a taboo. Senator John Uwan-Enoh now had to use his whole strength, everything he had. We entered from one village to another for this man to get those votes.
“Senator John did everything, everything a leader could do to make sure his president wins this election. I was in the media team. I was everywhere. I was driving myself. We suffered. Senator John used his money for that election,” she said crying.
Owan-Enoh lost the Cross River governorship election to Ben Ayade of the Peoples Democratic Party by 131,161 votes to Ayade’s 381,484 votes.
The lady also alleged that the ministerial nominee from Cross River was in Germany during the elections.
She mocked the party for its ‘Next Level’ slogan, saying “APC which level are we? There is nothing like next level. I don’t want to talk about this party anymore. I am tired of this party.”
