Zimbabwean actress and TV personality Vimbai Mutinhiri on Friday paid tribute to the late founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations Prophet TB Joshua as she celebrated her 35th birthday.
Sharing a picture of herself along with her husband and daughter, the 2011 Big Brother Africa housemate wrote: “If at the age of 30 God had showed me this image and told me it would be my life in 5 years I NEVER would have believed it.”
As she reflected on her new age, Vimbai said “I keep thinking about a conversation I used to have regularly with my mentor TB Joshua.”
She said Joshua he would ask her how she came to love God so much and her response was always because “His track record in my life is undeniable.”
Vimbai got married to Nigerian Andrew Ekpenyong in Calabar in May 2020 and welcomed her daughter Eme Ekpenyong in July 2021, a month after Joshua’s death on June 5.
In a message posted on Instagram a day after Joshua’s death Vimbai said when she moved to Nigeria the late televangelist told her “my daughter, you have finally come home”.
The University of Cape Town graduate said nothing could have prepared her and her family for a life without Joshua whom she credits for leading her to Christ and for being her shepherd in her walk in faith.
