The Prosecutor, Insp. Rachael Idowu told the court that the defendant committed the offences on Nov. 5 at 6.30 p.m., at Odofin Compound, Okuku, in Osun.
Idowu said that the septuagenarian was allegedly caught with a bag of the substance and his arrest led to the breach of public peace.
She said the offence contravened Sections 430 and 249 (d) of the Criminal Code Cap 38c Vol. 11, 2003.
The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
