Singer, Waje, has described Nigerians as ‘horrible as their leaders.’
The 39-year-old stated this in a tweet she posted on Monday.
She wrote, “May hypocrisy not kill us in the country. One thing I’ve learnt in this quarantine season is that we Nigerians are as horrible as the leaders we bash. It’s power we don’t have.”
Waje, whose real name is Aituaje Iruobe, was born in Akure, the Ondo State capital.
She became popular after being featured on P-Square’s 2018 song. ‘Do Me.’
