Singer, Waje, has announced she is in self-isolation after it was reported that a celebrity with symptoms of the ravaging coronavirus may have attended the 2020 edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA).
The 39-year-old made this known in a video she posted on Instagram on Friday.
The Ondo-born singer said, “…I got a lot of DMs and messages asking those who attended the AMVCAs to self-isolate. I attended the awards…I’m not panicking but I’m definitely going to just stay home…”
Waje’s decision comes after producer, Ifeoma Chukwogo, claimed a celebrity with symptoms of coronavirus was at the AMVCAs held last Saturday.
Self-styled investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, also made similar claims.
