Knockout, the Wale Adenuga Productions (WAP) comedy movie, has received good reviews ahead of its Easter release.
The promotional campaign for the movie which commenced on March 1, 2019, has received tremendously-positive results.
The trailer for the movie has been viewed over 1.2 million times across several online platforms including Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.
Wale Adenuga Jnr, the producer of ‘Knockout’ has appreciated the acceptance level of the trailer.
In his words: “We really appreciate the large number of views and positive comments we’ve received from the Knockout trailer. It’s a good indicator that audiences across Nigeria and Ghana understand what the movie set has out to achieve as the biggest and funniest movie ever!”
The big-budget movie’s impressive cast is made up of different generations of actors including Sola Sobowale, Charles Okocha, Toyin Abraham, Chinwetalu Agu, Odunlade Adekola, Patience Ozokwor, Broda Shaggi and Eniola Badmus.
There are also cameos by musicians, 9ice and Jaywon.
Knockout will be available at cinemas across Nigeria and Ghana starting Easter Friday, 19th April, 2019.
