Former President Goodluck Jonathan’s ex-media aide Reno Omokri has said that he and award-winning actor Wale Ojo have agreed to do a DNA test to know if they are related.
Omokri said this in a social media post on Thursday, noting that he was stunned by their resemblance when they first met.
He shared a photo of his daughter Ebelechukwu looking at him and Wale in surprise.
The photo was taken in January when Omokri turned 50.
“The almost shocking true back story about this photo is that my daughter, Ebelechukwu, was looking at Wale Ojo and me in surprise and trying to determine who was who, because we both agreed not to talk so she would not use our tonal differences (even though our voice is eerily similar, our accents are different) to distinguish us,” the former presidential aide wrote.
“Even I was stunned by the extreme resemblance when we first met. We have agreed to do a DNA test, but I am almost 100% certain we are not related. The only thing I can say is that God is great!”
Wale Ojo announced the death of his mother on June 1.
The British Nigerian star won Best Actor prize at the 2024 edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Award (AMVCA) which took place on May 11 at Eko Hotel and Suites.
