Pop singer, Korede Bello, has expressed optimism that Nigerians can defeat the scourge of corruption and poverty in the country.
The ‘Godwin’ singer made this known at a pre-release screening of Avengers Endgame organised by the United States consulate general on Thursday.
The movie was screened at the Filmhouse cinemas in Oniru, Lagos.
“We’re all extraordinary people and when we come together, we can definitely fight the Thanos of corruption, poverty and unemployment. We can crush these ills. In Nigeria, we need more people who are not thinking about just themselves,” he said while speaking to members of the press.
He was not the only celebrity in attendance, comedian, Okey Bakassi, said that he loved the movie and he was looking forward to seeing it again.
Earlier in April, Korede Bello revealed that he and label mate, Dr Sid, almost fell off the top of a boss while filming a music video.
