Senior pastor of Trinity House Church in Lagos Ituah Ighodalo on Wednesday paid tributes to his late wife Ibidun Ighodalo.
Ibidun, a former beauty queen, event management expert and co-pastor of the church, died in the early hours of Sunday, June 14, 2020 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
“Those who touch our lives, stay in our hearts forever. Greatly loved and deeply missed,” a note which Ighodalo shared on Instagram read.
Ibidun founded Elizabeth R, a public relations and event company; and Ibidunni Ighodalo Foundation, a non-profit organisation that is focused on supporting families with infertility challenges.
In 2007, she married Ighodalo and both have two adopted children. She was open about her own struggles to conceive, and her passion to help families that are struggling with infertility.
Before her death, she was on assignment to set up a COVID-19 isolation centre for the River State government. She died about a month before her 40th birthday.
