Children of the late founding pastor of Fountain of Life Church in Lagos Taiwo Odukoya are celebrating the posthumous 50th birthday of their stepmother Nomthi.
Nomthi died on November 9, 2021, following a two-year battle with cancer.
Odukoya wedded Nomthi, a South African, in January 2010, five years after his first wife Pastor Bimbo Odukoya died on December 11, 2005 from injuries sustained in a plane crash the previous day.
On August 7, 2023, Odukoya died in the United States at the age of 67. He was buried on September 9.
Celebrating Nomthi on Thursday, the church headed by Odukoya’s son Jimmy and assisted by his sister Tolu Odukoya-Ijogun wrote on Instagram that her words and impact have not stopped blessing them as a family and children around the world.
They said they missed her delightful dance and soul-lifting stories.

“We miss your delightful dance and soul-lifting stories. Continue to celebrate in God’s presence,” the Instagram post read.
