Afrobeat singer Seun Kuti has celebrated his sister, Afrobeat dancer and TV personality, Yeni Kuti, on her 61st birthday, saying that he and his siblings are loyal to her leardership.
The 39-year-posted posted a photo of himself and Yeni on Instagram on Tuesday as he poured encomiums on her.
Seun Kuti described Yeni as a powerful matriarch, adding that her deepest desires will be granted as she adds another year.
He wrote: “Happy birthday to our powerful Matriarch. We are all loyal to your leadership and humbled by your kindness. May this new year bring you your deepest desires. Love you loads. @yeniakuti“.
A retiree from active dancing, Yeni co-manages the Afrika Shrine with her younger brother Femi Kuti.
She also appears on Your View, a popular morning programme on TVC anchored by Morayo Afolabi-Brown.
Yeni was also celebrated by the crew of Your View in a video she posted on Instagram on Tuesday.
The daughter of Afrobeat legend Fela Anikulapo-Kuti has been in a long relationship with Mr Lawson, an architect and director of Freedom Park in Lagos.
