We’re not selling lands in Abuja – Foursquare Church

Foursquare Gospel Church GO Sam Aboyeji

Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria, under the leadership of the general overseer Rev Sam Aboyeji, has debunked claims that it is involved in the sale, purchase, and allocation of land in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, and its environs.

The church’s board of trustees, in receipt of a letter dated August 10, 2021, said to all the subscribers of the land transactions in question by the directors and management of the incorporated entities — Fourmodel Estate Ltd, Karismata Estate Ltd and McPherson Estate Limited — superintending the land transaction, that it is not in any way involved in the management of the respective estates.

National secretary of the church, Reverend Yomi Oyinloye, in a press release signed on Friday and made available to reporters, said: “The members of the incorporated Trustees and Board Members of the Foursquare Church in Nigeria are not directors, owners and are not involved in the management of the respective estates. The companies are separate entities.”

Oyinloye noted that it is, therefore, clear that those who may have or still be using the name of the church in relation to land transactions are doing so without the consent or authorisation of the church’s authority and that linking the church with any such transactions is preposterous and misleading.
