Gospel artiste Ada Ehi has expressed disapproval of Christians who engage in Halloween festivities, questioning the spiritual implications of their actions.
In a post on her Instagram page late Tuesday, Ada challenged fellow Christians by referencing biblical scriptures that caution against involvement in practices associated with darkness.
She wrote, “Dear Christian, when you participate in Halloween, what exactly are you celebrating?”
Ada followed up with a biblical warning, “So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth” (Revelation 3:16, NKJV).
She further cited 1 Corinthians 10:21 (NKJV), “You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the Lord’s table and of the table of demons.”
Her post sparked a conversation in the comments section, with fans sharing their thoughts on the matter.
Kikiola Olubanke commented, “Halloween is not for a Christian. Take note. It’s the devil’s party. Anything that instills fear and celebrates the grave is not of God. Please don’t participate in it.”
Sheila Agwa echoed this sentiment asking, “What fellowship has darkness with light?”
Oluwatosin Afolabi quipped, “The resurrection of their grandparents.”
Ama Apakama added, “A pertinent question indeed.”
