When I started My Flatmates, I had no money for set, cameras – Basketmouth

Comedian, Basketmouth, has revealed that when he started sitcom, My Flatmates, he didn’t have money for set, cameras and locations.

The 40-year-old funnyman disclosed this in an Instagram post on Friday.

Celebrating the 565th episode of the show on Africa Magic, he wrote: “The idea was conceived 15 years ago… @kayodepeters1 and I couldn’t afford to pay for a location, set or even a proper camera, but we pulled it off with what we had.

“My little flat at Iponri Estate became the set, KP pulled in all the favors so we got the cameras for close to nothing.”

My Flatmates follows the lives of four friends who share an apartment.

It stars actors such as Kayode Peters and Steve Onu popularly known as Yaw.
