Singer and entertainer, Small Doctor, has expressed his gratitude to celebrity disk jockey, DJ Real for believing in his “hustle” even when nobody did.
Small Doctor was one of the celebrity guest artiste invited to thrill fans at the “33” Export “City of Friends” concert in Surulere Lagos on Friday.
The ‘Ile Ijo’ singer was in high spirit as he treated fans with a spectacular musical performance, singing his hits songs such as ‘Uzobu’, ‘Penalty’, ‘Gbera’, ‘Mosquito Killer’, ‘Gbefu’, ‘Anobi’, and ‘Omo Iya Teacher’.
DJ Real, one of the celebrity DJ’s at the event, was singled out by Small Doctor as he came on stage at the request of the music star.
Speaking at the event, the 22-year-old was all grateful to DJ Real for believing he could be where he is, saying to fans that the Small Doctor of today is of the making of DJ Real.
“Shout out to DJ Real. In the days of nobody, when nobody believed this boy (himself) when nobody believed in my hustle when nobody believed in my craft, trust me this guy has everly stood by me.
“God bless you man, God bless you I appreciate you. The Small Doctor you see going to America going to London, it all started with DJ Real, God bless you man,” the ‘Penalty’ singer said.
Small Doctor came into the limelight in 2012. He started by creating mixtapes and freestyles.
His nickname was given to him by his mentor and a popular Fuji star, Alhaji Alabi Pasuma.
