A Federal High Court in Abuja has rescheduled the hearing of the bail application of a whistleblower Isaac Bristol alias PIDOM to September 17, 2024.

The hearing of the bail application was originally slated for Wednesday, September 11.

The defendant, represented by his lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, appeared in court and announced an appearance but the judge did not hear the bail application as planned.

PIDOM is standing trial for alleged terrorism, money laundering, cybercrime and illegally accessing classified documents.

The development followed his arrest on August 5, 2024, in his hotel room in Rivers State.

Force spokesman Olumuyiwa Adejobi said he was arrested on allegations of “committing serious offences that undermine the integrity of government operations”.

The police also alleged that journalist David Hundeyin and another individual identified as Michael Alade were PIDOM’s accomplices.
