A man, whose identity is unclear, caused a stir on Friday night at the Redeemed Christian Church of God’s Holy Ghost Congress for the month of November.
The man claimed to have come from Oke-Igbo, Ondo State when he came on stage during the time for testimonies.
When handed the microphone, he began singing and giving glory to God for the 70 years of the church’s existence.
He said, “I thank God for the RCCG, how God has helped the ministry in the last 70 years. God has done great things in this mission.”
The anchor for the night soon urged him to use the time alloted to him efficiently.

The man said he was directing his message to the church’s general overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.
He said, “My message is to our daddy Pastor Adeboye. God asked me to ask him, ‘Who is the person that would succeed him?'”
The technical crew soon cut him off from the microphone and he was ushered out of the podium by two people.
Adeboye however did not make reference to the man’s action during his sermon.
