Actress Moyo Lawal has explained why she agreed to make an intimate video with her former lover.
The video which went viral on September 9, caused a stir online, with many criticising her for becoming the latest celebrity with a sex tape out in the public.
Two days after the sex tape scandal, the Badagry-born star took to Instagram to reveal the identity of the man whom she referred to as her former fiancé.
Revisiting the matter in an Instagram post on Sunday, the actress stated that she agreed to make the video because the man put in a lot of work to win her trust and that meant a lot.
Moyo also insisted that she did not leak the video.
She wrote: “Until a lioness tells her story, every hunter will continue to be a hero. People always take quiet, non-problematic people as fools. However, I think it is time for me to start talking. One thing… I can tell you for a fact however that things are never what they seem to be. I only had xxx twice last year, one of those times is the video. That I agreed to because he started recording after the fact, he doesn’t live in Nigeria, he put in a lot of work winning my trust over the years and I mean a lot. So much so, that we were already working towards a house, marriage and all. That is why I had to break up with him last year, when I started having communication challenges with him because I put my entire life on pause with any man I am dating.

Moyo, whose age is not known publicly, had hinted at opening an OnlyFans account a year ago.
