Controversial singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has explained why he exhumed his mother’s body for reburial 17 years after her death.
The ‘Zazu’ star who recently exhumed his mother’s body and reburied her, revealed his reason in a recent interview with media personality DJ Brooke Bailey.
Speaking in the now-viral video Portable explained that he exhumed her body because the land where she was buried was sold.
The singer who clocked 30 said his mother died when he was 13 years old, the show host to where his mum was buried before he decided to exhume her body and place it at a new location.
Portable who spoke in pidgin English said, “I lost my mother at the age of 13. I exhumed her body and reburied her because they sold the land where she was initially buried.”
The singer also revealed that he wants to build a mansion at the place where he reburied his mother.
