Nigeria winger, Ahmed Musa, has stated the motive behind his desire to move to the English Premier League rather than other top European leagues.
Musa, 22, cited language as a major obstacle that could hinder a transfer to the Spanish La Liga, German Bundesliga, Italian Serie A and French Ligue 1 – favouring the EPL instead.
The CSKA Moscow attacker believes he is better suited to the EPL where he can concentrate solely on his football without any distraction coming in the form of language.
“I don’t want to learn new language afresh,” Musa said.
“I just want to play where I need not bother myself with the language; rather I want to focus on my football. England suits me at the moment because there all I need to do is play football without any language barrier.”
The former VVV Venlo pacy winger is in fine run of form having scored six times in 11 appearances for the Army club – making him the highest goalscorer in the Russian Premier League.
And it is just a matter of time before the player will succumb to interest from the Premier League having been heavily linked with Tottenham and Everton in years past.
“I will wait for the right move to England,” he said.
Musa, who has captained Nigeria on a couple of occasions, is currently with the Super Eagles squad in Belgium where they will face DR Congo and Cameroon on Thursday and Sunday respectively in international friendly matches.
