Actor Richard Mofe-Damijo aka RMD has revealed that he was afraid to marry Jumobi Adegbesan because of how nice she was.
The 62-year-old stated this on Tuesday in an interview with comedian Teju Babyface, while recalling instances where she showed him acts of kindness before their marriage in 2000.
“I was really afraid to marry her because she was too nice and I kept saying to her I hope you won’t change when I marry you,” he said.

Richard and Jumobi have been married for 23 years after his first wife Ellen Mofe-Damijo died in 1996 from surgery complications.
He has five children – three with Ellen and two with Jumobi.
