Rapper M.I Abaga says he was denied access to American rapper Rick Ross because the Afro-beat industry has no respect for Hip-hop.
M.I said this on Twitter on Friday, moments after fellow rapper Ycee accused show organsiers of neglecting Nigerian rappers at the concert orgainsed for Rick Ross in Lagos on Thursday which had Afro-beat singers like Davido, Tiwa Savage, Rema and Patoranking in attendance.
Supporting his Ycee’s claims, M.I said he was poorly treated during his 2008 collaboration with rapper Jay Z, pop star Rihanna and RNB singer Usher.
He, however, promised to make great music for those who can about the Rap genre.
