Actress Foluke Daramola has explained why some Nollywood veterans beg for financial support on social media when they get sick.
Foluke revealed this in a recent interview with Legit.ng, adding that it is better for them to beg online than die in silence.
“Many of these people are not social media filmmakers, nor are they proficient at using it. The truth is social media has taken over the space, and for them to sustain themselves, it is really, really difficult. It is actually better for them to come out than die in silence,” she said.
This is coming barely 24 hours after veteran actor Ameachi Muonagor appealed to the public for financial support.
