Hauwa Suntai, widow of late Governor of Taraba State, Danbaba Suntai, has reportedly married Haliru Malami who is said to be the cousin of Turai Yar’Adua, wife of late ex-President, Umaru Yar’Adua.
News of the pair getting married went viral during the weekend.
Malami, reports say is in his 30s while Hauwa is believed to be in her 50s.
The lovebirds reportedly tied the knot according to Islamic rites on Saturday.
The former Taraba governor was involved in a plane crash in Yola, Adamawa State capital, in October 2012 and was flown abroad for treatment.
He died on June 28, 2017, in Houston, Texas, United States, after battling with the impact of the crash.
