Governor Nyesom Wike has forwarded the names of 13 commissioner-nominees to the Rivers House of Assembly for screening.
A statement by Clerk of the House, Stanford Oba, listed the names to include Emma Okah, Charles Wogu, Ibibia Walters, Tamunosisi Gogo-Jaja, Isaac Kamalu and Mrs. Sukelu Oyagiri.
Others are Damiete Alfred Miller, Boma Iyayi, Emeka Onowu, Prof. Princewill Chike, Tasie Chinedu Nwabueze, Sylvanus Nwankwo and Prof. Kaniye Ebeku.
The nominees are to appear before the House of Assembly on Tuesday, August 8 at 10 a.m.
Okah, Ebeku, Kamalu, Walters and Iyayi are making a comeback into Wike’s cabinet after they were sacked along with other commissioners on July 24.
Wike had on Sunday sacked all his special advisers, except the one on Religious Affairs, Bishop Winston Iwo.
