Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Nyesom Wike has expressed pride and joy as his son Jordan Wike graduated with a Master of Laws (LLM) from Queen Mary University of London, United Kingdom.
Mr Wike shared the news on his X account on Tuesday, revealing that he attended the graduation ceremony alongside his wife.
“Happy to witness, alongside my wife, the graduation ceremony of our son, Jordan, who just earned a Master of Laws (LLM) Degree at the Queen Mary University of London, UK,” the minister wrote.
Reflecting on his son’s academic achievement, Wike added, “As a father, I am happy for the progress Jordan is making in the pursuit of his career.”
Wike, who was governor of Rivers State from 2015 to 2023, obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree from RSUT before proceeding to Law School in 1997.
His wife Eberechi Wike is a justice of the Rivers State High Court.
