Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has terminated the appointment of the commissioner for environment Igbiks Tamuno.
The commissioner was directed to submit all government documents and property in his possession to the permanent secretary of the Ministry of Environment, according to a statement on Tuesday by Mr Wike’s spokesman Kelvin Ebiri.
The statement did not give reason for the governor’s action.
