Wilfred Ndidi’s impressive displays thus far for Leicester City seems not to be going unnoticed.
The Super Eagles star may not pop up regularly to score that odd goal but his work rate in the middle of the pack appears to be winning him loads of plaudits.
With 61 successful interceptions and tackles garnered, Ndidi is ranked the best in the Premier League according to statistics website Whoscored.

That’s an extraordinary feat considering the luxury of midfield talents in the English top flight.
The likes of N’Golo Kante, Fernandinho, Granit Xhaka and Jordan Henderson are way below the Nigerian in the rating.
Interestingly, Ndidi is only 20 and moved to England about 11 months ago.
He hasn’t missed any of Leicester’s league games this season, making 11 appearances.
Ndidi is presently in the Super Eagles camp in Rabat, Morocco in preparation for the clashes against Algeria and Argentina.
