Super Eagles star, Ahmed Musa, has given further explanation on why he recently acquired a petrol station.
The 24-year-old Leicester City star, who reportedly earns around £60,000 a week, launched his latest business concern in his hometown, Kano, on Wednesday.
“It is important to think about life after football,” Musa admitted to KweséESPN.
“We will not play forever, and the best time to start thinking about that and doing something about it is when you are still playing.”
Indeed, Musa may be far away from retirement but he is already planning for his post-footballing career.
He is believed to also own a sports complex, leisure centre and a mini-shopping mall, all in Kano.
But the ex-CSKA Moscow forward will be hoping to get back to his best on the pitch soon.
Musa has played just once this season for Craig Shakespeare’s team and is yet to start in the Premier League game.
Leicester’s next game will be at home to West Brom on Monday.
