Super Eagles stars, William Troost-Ekong and Mikel Agu, got a rare privilege of meeting with Nigeria President, Muhammadu Buhari, in Turkey.
Both players, who were part of the team that recently secured the country a berth at next year’s FIFA World Cup, play their club football for Bursaspor in the transcontinental nation.
Buhari is in Turkey for the Ninth Summit of the Developing 8 (D-8) taking place on Friday.
His mission is to bolster warm and growing ties across a broad range of areas of cooperation with leaders of the D8-member countries, namely Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Pakistan and Turkey.
But it appears that the country’s no 1 is taking out some time to handle non-official duties.
Troost-Ekong was the first to make public his memorable meeting with Buhari who came in company of Turkey President, Tayyip Erdoğan.

Buhari seemed excited meeting the pair, knowing his country will be in Russia.
However, it wasn’t the same for Erdoğan whose nation failed to qualify for the Mundial.
