Pop singer, Wizkid, on Saturday failed to live up to his promise to attend Banky W and Adesua Etomi’s white wedding in Cape Town, South Africa.
The 27-year-old was also absent at the family introduction and traditional wedding of the couple, both of which were held in Lagos in May and last week respectively.
He had apologised for missing the traditional event, promising “we go rock church wedding” in a message posted on social media.
The “church wedding” was held by the idyllic Table Mountain in South Africa with close friends and family of the couple present.
Conspicuously missing was Wizkid who rose to prominence after the release of his 2010 single, ‘Holla at your Boy’, on Banky’s label, Empire Mates Entertainment (EME).
The multiple award winner, who made new last week for the birth of his third son by a third woman, was yet to explain his absence at the time of filing this report.
He has been busy promoting his new song, ‘Manya’, and two shows he has coming up in Lagos in December.
