Pop singer, Wizkid, has fired back at a publication which called him ‘humble’ for eating pounded yam with his son, Zion.
The 29-year-old knocked the online news outfit in a post on Twitter on Thursday.
The publication posted a video of the ‘Joro’ singer on Twitter having pounded yam and Okro soup with his two-year-old son, Zion, saying he was showing humility.
The Lagos-born singer replied the tweet: “Humility? Lol, I eat pounded yam every day, you cows!”
Wizkid has never hidden his love for Nigerian food.
In a tweet on March 9, he explained that while everyone else was waiting for ‘the new him’, he was waiting for jollof rice which he previously revealed as his favourite food.
“They are waiting for the new Wizkid! I just want my Jollof to reach here quick,” he wrote.
