Singer, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has addressed a bill in the Senate seeking to ban the importation of electricity generators.
The 29-year-old aired his views on Twitter on Friday, explaining that the government ought to concentrate on providing stable electricity instead.
He quoted a tweet about the proposed ban and wrote, “F…king d..k heads! Give us 24-hour electricity first!”
Fellow singer, Adekunle Gold, recently expressed a similar opinion about the issue saying, “A government that can’t provide constant electricity thinks it is genius to ban generators nationwide.”
