Nigerian pop star, Wizkid, has announced the suspension of his tour in other to recover from an undisclosed illness.
The 27-year-old singer disclosed this on Monday while apologising to fans on Twitter for missing an appearance.
He called for their understanding and prayers, saying he will be spending time with his family while he recovers.
The singer said the rescheduled dates for the cancelled shows will be announced to his fans, but his next performance will be in London on September 29.
He also apologised for his absence at the Made in America festival on Sunday, which showcased Tiwa Savage who performed at the festival.

This is not the first time the Ojuelegba singer will be cancelling an appearance on health grounds.
He cancelled his homecoming concert scheduled for December 2016 in Nigeria and all shows in January on his doctor’s recommendation.
