Singer Reekado Banks has said that his colleague Wizkid’s jibes at him made him feel disrespected.
On November 15 Wizkid knocked Reekado for wanting to release a song amid the #EndSARS protest which engulfed several states Nigeria.
Reekado did not reply him as he took down the post.
The 26-year-old said he felt disrespected in an interview with HOT FM 93.3 in Lagos.
“It made me understand that I wasn’t respected as much as I thought so it’s like I dey my lane then,” he said on Friday.
When asked if he thought they could mend things or sort things out Reekado said he is busy promoting his EP.
He said, “Right now I’m just busy promoting Off The Record.”
He also revealed that he did not drop the song with Wizkid after the insult.
Reekado released his Off The Record EP on November 27 which did not include his song with Wizkid.
Off The Record has seven tracks.
