Jada Pollock, music manager and mother of Wizkid’s son Zion, has reacted to the latter’s post about being single.
Wizkid declared himself single in a Snapchat pot on Monday, November 28, adding that he is interested in having one or two partners.
“Been single for so long. Gotta find me one or two,” he wrote.
Moments after the post was made, Jada in a now-deleted post on Twitter wrote: “Taking arguments to social media is never going to end well.”
The post generated mixed reactions on social media as many insinuated that the duo is having troubles in their relationship.
Jada announced the birth of her second child in an Instagram post on July 30.
The American-born music executive became popular in the Nigerian space after she welcomed Zion with Wizkid in 2017.
Wizkid’s relationship with the 39-year-old caused problems with other mothers of his children as they claim he favours Jada’s son over theirs.
On July 17, 2019, Jada came under attack on social media for accusing the singer of domestic violence.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, Jada claimed she had been covering up for the singer and endured being in an abusive relationship for years.
She wrote: “From today, Ayo and I will no longer work together. I have been in an abusive relationship with him for years. Covering up for him time and time again and I am tired.
“Wiz continuously puts his hands on me, leaves me with bruises that I cover up from the world, including my friends and family.”
“It often feels like we are at war in the same house. I have done all I can to keep this all together but from today, I let go. You can support someone as much as you can but at some point, you have to value yourself. I can’t raise my son in this kind of unhealthy environment.”
But on July 18, the mother of two blamed hackers for the domestic abuse allegations made against the Grammy Award winner.
“My account was hacked in the late hours of Monday morning and my Instagram account was compromised. I can guarantee that the statement written was not by my hand. I can only apologise for any confusion, this may have caused. I have now recovered my account,” she wrote on Instagram.
In March 2022, Jada lashed out at a tweep who addressed her as Wizkid’s baby mama.
