Comedian-turned-prophet Woli Arole has garnered widespread praise after he expressed plans to hire lawyers to assist in bailing hundreds of prisoners awaiting trial at the Agodi Prison in Ibadan.
Arole shared his heart-wrenching experience on Instagram, revealing that during his recent visit to the prison, he was shocked to learn that over 1,000 inmates were still awaiting trial.
In a bid to alleviate their plight, Arole vowed to hire legal professionals to help secure their release.
“I was broken today when I was told that there are over 1000 awaiting trials at Agodi prison. Thank God, we are going to hire lawyers and see how we can bail as many as we can for free!!” he wrote.
The post quickly attracted an outpouring of praise from his followers, with many commending his selfless actions. Some also prayed for more blessings upon him.
