Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi, has once again denied the woman spraying money in a video that went viral last year is his daughter.
The denial is contained in a statement Tuesday by Oyo State Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Toye Arulogun.
Online media reports (not in Qed.ng) had named the woman shamelessly spraying money as Abimbola Ajimobi.
“When the purported video first hit the virtual sphere, some individuals labelled the lady in it as one of Governor Abiola Ajimobi’s daughters. This allegation was addressed and reasoning prevailed as majority of the people who accessed the video then recognised and accepted that the image in the video did not have anything in common with any of the Ajimobi’s daughters,” the statement said.
“However, some social media comical actors have decided to bring back the video to cyber space and in their malicious intention, claimed the lady spraying with reckless abandon in the video is one of Senator Ajimobi’s daughters.
“With all sense of responsibility, we write to categorically state that the lady in the video is not one of Ajimobi’s daughters. We urge those spreading this to desist from such.
“The true pictures of Ajimobi’s daughters can be sourced from the internet for comparison. There is a clear distinct.
“Kindly ignore the internet jokers.”
