A male robbery suspect in Lagos got more than he could stomach on Tuesday when his female victim stabbed him in the abdomen
Police patrol team responded to a call at Eyinya Street Lagos Island at about 2:50am on July 28 and found the luckless man injured.
The male suspect and another accomplice now on the run allegedly entered the room of the woman to rob her of her possession but the victim overpowered and stabbed one of the suspects in the stomach.
A message posted on the Nigeria Police Force website on Wednesday revealed that the suspect was taken to hospital for medical treatment together with the victim who also sustained injury in her hand.
“Efforts are being intensified to apprehend the other fleeing suspect,” according to the police.
