A 45-year-old Pennsylvania woman, Shana Decree, and her 19-year-old daughter, Dominique Decree, were on Tuesday charged to court for allegedly killing five relatives, including three children.
The bodies of the victims were found on Monday inside an apartment in suburban Philadelphia, United States, Fox Carolina reports.
Bucks County District Attorney, Matthew Weintraub, said the duo are facing five-count charges of homicide and one count each of conspiracy.
The victims included Shana Decree’s children 25-year-old Naa’Irah Smith, and 13-year-old Damon Decree Jr.
The others are Shana Decree’s sister Jamilla Campbell, 45; and Campbell’s 9-year-old twin daughters, Imani and Erika Allen.
Mr Weintraub said authorities are looking for Campbell’s 17-year-old son, Joshua.
The teenager is not a suspect in the case but is wanted for his safety,
“I wanted to make sure everybody knew that the people who committed these atrocious acts are now in custody and (will) be made to pay for their crimes,” Weintraub said at the scene on Monday night.
The bodies were found about 4 p.m. on Monday after police went to check on the welfare of residents at a unit in the area.
Authorities are still investigating the killings.
