Nigeria Football Federation boss, Amaju Pinnick, was the surprise guest of Pastor Paul Adefarasin on Friday at the House on the Rock headquarters in Lagos.
Pinnick visited the renowned preacher to seek prayers for the Super Eagles who are currently at the FIFA World Cup in Russia.
The Eagles begin their campaign on Saturday against Croatia.
But with Egypt and Morocco suffering late defeats, the ex-Delta FA chairperson ran for spiritual help for the national team.
And the 55-year-old who is the brain behind the biggest gospel concert in Nigeria, The Experience, didn’t disappoint offering words of prayer to the team.
The church shared his supplication via their official Twitter account on Friday evening.
He said: We declare over the Super Eagles of Nigeria and NFA, that God will lift up the light of His countenance upon them, the heaven will favour their cause, they will bring forth excellence and God will give them victory after victory in Jesus name.”
