Actress and entrepreneur, Juliet Ibrahim, has revealed that writing her book, A Toast to Life, was therapeutic for her.
The 33-year-old disclosed this in an interview with punchng.com.
“It was very therapeutic for me. I honestly didn’t even realise how strong I was until I put together all my experiences in this memoir. I have had experiences that would probably break the average person, but I survived. My gratitude to God is the reason why today, I can give a toast to life,” she said.
In an Instagram post before the book’s launch, Juliet Ibrahim had said that she survived the upheaval of wars across continents.
The screen goddess named Liberia, Cote D’Ivoire and Lebanon as some of the countries where she had been through.
She also narrated how she has been torn away from the familiar, lost memories and loved ones.
Juliet was born in Ghana to a Lebanese father and a Ghanaian/Liberian mother.
