Actress Wumi Toriola has cried out over the injury inflicted on her male colleague Akeem Adeyemi by ‘area boys’.
The actress poster a video of an injured Akeem on Instagram on Tuesday, crying as he narrated how some ‘area boys’ attacked him on a movie set in Gbagada area of Lagos State.
In the video, the actor whose left eye was seriously bruised could be seen lamenting the attack in Yoruba language.
Captioning the video, Wumi wrote: “See what area boys did. To what end. Peaceful filming turned this. Help.
Fellow celebrities like Kemi Afolabi, Femi Adebayo, Muyiwa Ademola and Bidemi Kosoko condemned the attack in the comment section of the post.
Kemi wrote: “Omg oh no this nonsense has got to stop!! Sorry Akeem. #sosad.”
“Aha!! This is highly unacceptable!!” Femi Adebayo added.
Muyiwa Ademola wrote: “What is this God ! Why would this happen? Why ? What for.”
Bidemi Kosoko wrote: “Jehovah Hakeem ah what on earth is this No no no This is unacceptable.”
