Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, on Wednesday caused gridlock at Gwagwalada, along Abuja-Lokoja road.
The governor, who is seeking re-election, stopped his convoy at Madam Mercy junction and sprayed money to passersby, causing them to jostle for a catch.

According to Daily Trust, Bello was on his way to Lokoja from Abuja.
Apparently appealing for a second term in office come November, the governor made the 4+4 sign with his fingers as he sprayed three bundles of N500 notes.
Pedestrians, petty traders, commercial motorcyclists all abandoned their trade as they scrambled to get hold of the money.
