Director-general of the Yahaya Bello Presidential Campaign Organisation Hafsat Abiola-Costello on Wednesday said the dream of her late mother Kudirat Abiola for a better Nigeria, and for Nigerian women will be actualised with Yahaya Bello being president of the country.
Abiola-Costello stated this in Akure, Ondo State while speaking with newsmen at a rally tagged south-west mega women rally for Yahaya Bello.
According to her, Nigerian women have decided take their destinies into their hands by supporting the Bello, the only governor that has given them a voice, and showed that women could turn stone into bread.
“Seeing this huge honest crowd, I am confident that Yahaya Bello’s good deeds, belief in women, and giant strides in a women-filled government, have earned him the trust of Nigerian women.
“And I assure you, he will never forsake you. He has demonstrated this loudly in Kogi,” she noted.
Leader of the South-West Market Movement for Yahaya Bello Nike Aroloye said the women of Nigeria are looking beyond party primaries.
Aroloye, who is also the deputy national president, Market Women Association of Nigeria, added: “We already see the ticket with Yahaya Bello. Once he gets it, we are marching straight to Aso Rock. All my market women are ready to support him.”
Actress Rose Odika led other south-west female stars to the rally.
