Wife of the Governor of Kogi State, Rashida Bello, has donated a house to an 80-year-old homeless woman.
The beneficiary, Salihu Uhuanamo, was handed a two-bedroom apartment built and furnished by Rashida Bello Foundation at Ipaku-Eba in Adavi Local Government of Kogi.

She was also given new kitchen utensils, food items, clothes, and toiletries.
Mrs Bello ran into the woman some months ago on her humanitarian activities to some communities in the Central Senatorial District.
Uhuanamo was at the time living in a deplorable condition.
Bello was full of appreciation to God for giving her the opportunity to touch the lives of women and children in Kogi positively.

“According to an Irish Peace Activist, Betty Williams ‘To say that on a daily basis you can make a difference, well, you can. One act of kindness a day can do it’. I am always happy to make that difference,” Bello said.
Yahaya Bello’s wife urged all Kogi natives to always give helping hands to people in need and also to show love and concern to their neighbours.
