Afropop singer Yemi Alade has replied a fan who body-shamed her for looking robust in a dress.
The fan identified on Instagram by the username Tuccie3 in a comment on one of Yemi’s recent posts wrote: “You’ve put on so much weight.”
Reacting, the ‘Johnny’ singer posted a video on Wednesday in which she is seen eating aggressively.
Tagging the troll, she wrote: “Yes! And I’ll eat you too!”
While celebrating her birthday over the weekend, Yemi revealed she lost 7kg as a birthday gift to herself. She said she previously weighed 88kg and had dropped to 81kg.
The singer rose to prominence after contesting and winning the Peak Talent Show in 2009, after which she signed to Effyzzie Music Group.
