Like the Kardashians, Nigerian pop queen, Yemi Alade, has launched her mobile app designed to run on devices such as smartphones and tablet computers.
The’ Johnny’ singer on Wednesday made history by being the first Nigerian female celebrity to provide the mobile platform where she can connect with fans.
Yemi shared a screen shoot of the app on Instagram along with the caption, “#freeDownload#YemiAladeApp No need to use up your data anymore…with this app..you might just catch me in the bathroom ????it’s personal like that! !its NOT the usual ??? Download no #DoAsIDo #YemiAladeApp #YemiAladeCollection.”
While the 26-year-old is the first female to launch a personal app, she is not the first Nigerian celebrity to do so.
Rapper, Lynxxx, launched his own app back in 2013.
Yemi also unveiled a jewellery collection in conjunction with online jewellery retailer Bland2Glam in November.
